i da'd in feb 06. hadn't heard a word from any jw since then.. about a month or 3 weeks ago, i emailed an elder to ask if my 15yo was still on whatever publisher list it is now.

when i left, she had just been announced (i think) an unbaptized pub.

so i was curious about her 'status'.

when they come hone with there report card ever thow it may not be the best, you put you arms around then and hug, tell them you are proude of them and love them.

you can almost bet that the next report card will be even better.

-30 Wind Chill and the meeting WAS NOT Cancelled...What Idiots

it's -5 with a minus 30-35 wind chill factor here so you would think the "loving elders" would cancel the sunday borefest.....nope.

just got a call...."well of course it was your choice, but there were 70 in attendance this morning!!!".

there have been meetings cancelled because of heavy snow, but give me a break going out could be dangerous.

What are these nut jobs going to do when the big A comes. All those who make the electrical power are going to be zapped. So no power to run the furnace, on lights, no power to get gas out of the ground etc. There all going to be sitting on the cold ground frezing there asses off and they call this paradise. I call it HELL.

Ever child wants the approval of there parants. So here is what you have to do. When they come hone with there report card ever thow it may not be the best, you put you arms around then and hug, tell them you are proude of them and love them. You can almost bet that the next report card will be even better. The problem with JW is that they grow up feeling that there parents love the WT more than them. PS you could give them a couple of chorklet chip cookies.
